TAIBO Recruitment are seeking an experienced **Medical Receptionist** with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high quality service to join a newly established family practice in Canberra. **Our Client** - Our Client is dedicated to providing excellent healthcare in a primary care setting with a vision to provide the community with continued best-practice holistic health services through a team of highly skilled and dedicated doctors. - The practice environment is a very happy and supportive one with excellent relationships with a number of surrounding General Practitioners. **About the role** **Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to** - Greeting and providing support to patients - Answering phone calls and dealing with patient queries - Booking appointments and updating patient information - Dealing and assisting with doctors and Nurses - Administration support and other ad hoc duties - Processing consultation payments and Medicare rebates - Triage emergencies when and if they occur - Always maintain confidentiality of patient personal and financial information - Excellent customer service, confidentiality and high ethics standard are a must in this role - This is a long-term position with excellent job security to work ideally 4 days per week. - Hours of work would generally be 9am to 5pm. No weekend work or shift work requirement. **Skills and experience** - Strong communication skills with a friendly and confident personality - Well-presented and exceptional commitment to patient care/service.
