An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced
**Merchandise Planning Assistant **to join a dynamic team at Seed Heritage team.

Reporting directly to our Merchandise Planning Manager, this role will see you responsible for budgeting, analysing and recommending initiatives to drive and maximise the financial and stock performance of the Online channel across all merchandise departments.
- Please note: this is a fixed term contract of 12 months_

**THE ROLE**
- Report on and provide detailed daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal class analyse regarding performance of sales, stock, sell throughs and GP at a class and style level for Seed Heritage Online website and all other Online channels.
- Make recommendations for future initiatives and opportunities relating to driving and maximising sales and gross profit performance while utilising online and warehouse stock to its full potential taking into consideration promotional strategies and key events.
- Manage budgets by department, class, season, month and day.
- Responsible for reviewing and recommending stock required for campaigns and business initiatives.
- Maintains accurate documentation of expected incoming and outgoing sales and stock volumes for the warehouse.
- Report Online best sellers data to the team to ensure slow moving styles are re-merchandised on the site to maximise future sales performance
- Communicate monthly business focus / high investment areas discussed in buy meetings to Ecommerce Manger ahead of monthly site updates in order to feature relevant styles in marketing material and homepage tiles
- Monitor and review weekly social and EDM schedules in conjunction with Online Merchandiser to ensure in stock on all featured products.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**:

- Previous experience in a similar Merchandise Planner role
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in all MS Office Programs
- Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
- Strong financial and commercial business acumen
- A good understanding of market trends/store demands
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail skills
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
- Effective negotiation and influencing skills
