Slowpoke Bar & Lookout is looking for a bartender to join our close-knit team at one of Melbourne's most inviting rooftop spots.

Location: Slowpoke Bar & Lookout — Rooftop, Collingwood, Melbourne
Employment type: Casual
Reports to: Bar Manager

About Us

Slowpoke Bar & Lookout is a cosy, social rooftop bar in Collingwood that pairs carefully crafted cocktails with the best sunset views in the neighbourhood. We’re a small, close-knit team who take pride in warm service, slick runs during busy shifts, and a relaxed after-work vibe. This role suits someone who wants to grow their craft, contribute to a tight team culture, and help create memorable guest moments.

What you bring to the party:

- Strong communication skills, excellent customer service, and a team-first attitude
- Mix classic and contemporary cocktails to recipe, and craft simple, balanced bar specialities
- Engage guests — make recommendations, offer tasting notes, and ensure a great experience from arrival to last call
- Previous bar experience or equivalent hospitality background — cocktail experience essential
- Solid knowledge of spirits, beer and wine basics, and an interest in cocktail technique and flavour balance
- Comfortable working fast paced shifts and able to stay calm under pressure

You must be available for nights, weekends and some public holidays
- Vic RSA
