**Hours**:30 - 38 hours a week

**Location**: Shailer Park

**Purpose of the position**

Biogenics is a family business that manufacturers and distributes health supplements. Based in Shailer Park with 10 staff, we are open Monday to Friday and looking for our next team member.

The Food Production Operator is a key role within the business and you support the Production Manager, in all things production related. You will be good with a computer and have a food safety certificate. Working with stores and warehousing, you will keep up with production planning to make sure that enough product is made and kept on the shelves. You will make sure machinery is cleaned, regularly maintained and in good working order. You will keep an eye on all packaging, labels and raw materials to make sure there are the correct amounts of stock on hand and for the future. You will work with Data Pel to work with all builds of materials and make sure the data is correct and up to date.

**Your duties will include**:

- Food Safety
- Production/assembly process work - assemble and prepare powders, liquids and capsules
- Picking, packing, weighing, sealing and stacking
- Stock Management & Storage
- Data Entry
- Labelling
- Cleaning to ensure hygiene is maintained to the highest level and related duties to production
- Ensure and maintain quality of all products
- Machine Maintenance (with Production Managers assistance)
- Assist in stores and warehouse if needed
- Repetitive movements and lifts - ability to stand for periods of time to perform your role and manual handling capability of up to 25kg for occasional bulk raws

- Have worked in production previously
- Be physically fit and like to move all day
- Available Monday to Friday
- Be proactive and have a 'can do' attitude

Pay: $29.33 per hour
