The Role

Our Wetherill Park site in Sydney is our Milk Based Beverages (MMB) hub for the eastern seaboard. The site manufactures both Fresh and Extended Shelf-Life products, including our short pack format MBB and Ultra Heat Treated (UHT) long-life unrefrigerated milk. This state-of-the-art facility has benefited from past and ongoing large-scale investment and produces 75 million litres of some of Australia's most loved dairy products including Dare Iced Coffee, Dairy Farmers, Farmers Union, and Big M.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Team Leader, this role is to ensure all Production and packaging functions are carried out in an effective, efficient, and timely manner and for delivering products safely, of the highest quality, at the lowest cost, with mínimal waste in the correct quantity when it is required.

The incumbent must be flexible working 12.33 hours per shift Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6 am to 6.20, 3 days on and 4 days off.


**Responsibilities**:
- Working in positions throughout the production department involving all aspects of manufacturing operations- Adherence to our quality, safety and environmental systems and practices- Documentation as required by our HACCP system- Assisting maintenance team in trouble shooting of equipment as required- Participation in continuous improvement activities

About you- Comfortable using technology for production, safety, quality, and reporting- Exceptional team player, and communicator who builds strong and constructive relationships- A passion to deliver the sites KPI’s and implement continuous improvement- A strong Goods Manufacturing Practice and hygiene focus- Intermediate mechanical aptitude- Forklift licence or ability to get one
