**What will you do?**

This role can be based in Christchurch, New Zealand, or Melbourne, Victoria.

This role will lead an effective audit and risk function that provides assurance that key controls are in place to identify, address, and manage enterprise risks while ensuring compliance with regulations, in conjunction with building a culture of collaboration and high performance. It will provide strategic risk insights to the Board and Senior Executive Team in the development of risk appetite and a framework to control strategic risk and compliance.
- Lead Ryman's audit, risk and compliance function on a journey toward greater maturity and excellence.
- Develop and implement strategies that ensure enterprise-wide risk management and assurance.
- Guide and inspire leaders and teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Show and empower others to manage and mitigate risks proactively, building long-term capability across the business.
- Provide insightful, high-quality reporting to the Board, Senior Executive Team, and Audit, Finance, and Risk Committee.
- Champion a proactive, transparent, and risk-aware culture.
