**Your new company**
Your new company is a leading Western Australian Food manufacturer with a warehouse based North of the River. They have an exciting opportunity to join their team in Osborne Park as a Cold Storage Supervisor on a permanent basis.

**Your new role**
As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the operation in the Cold Storage Area, including receiving, picking, dispatch and inventory as well as leading your team and driving improvements. Reporting to the Cold Storage Manager, you will be managing a medium sized team of 8-15 staff. Your duties will include:

- Ensuring accurate receiving, storing, dispatching and high quality of goods
- Actively participate in the development & improvement of current processes within the warehouse.
- Training, mentoring and development of staff members through high engagement, support and communication.
- Coordinating cycle counts and stock takes
- Ensure a safe working environment and adherence to OH&S policies by all team members.
- Using an inhouse inventory system including RF Scanners
- General warehousing duties

**What you'll need to succeed**
As a successful Cold Storage Supervisor, you will have previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or a similar role, as well as the following:

- A valid Forklift license and experience
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to enable you to effectively lead your team
- Previous perishable or cold chain experience preferred
- Hands-on approach
- A track record in people management
- Strong computer literacy
- Great communication skills
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, performance and mitigate risk, striving for on time delivery for our customers
- Ensure safety standards are adhered to, making suitable changes when risks and opportunities are identified grow and mentor your team for their continued development and success
- Strong understanding of practical processes within stock control & logistics
