**About the Role**:
John Holland in Victoria & NSW is an already well-established top tier contractor and is growing and developing to reflect the enormous State and Federal Government investment into Infrastructure and Construction throughout Vic & NSW.

As part of this continued growth John Holland are now looking to engage with established Commercial Managers and Senior Commercial Managers looking to join a top tier contractor where you will be encouraged to provide leadership, guidance and influence through the full life cycle of project within this large and diverse business unit with a clear focus on stakeholder engagement and project delivery.

You will lead a large Infrastructure project ($900M - $1.5B), in addition you will manage your talented commercial team and be able to grow and influence how this team looks.

**To be successful in this role**:

- You will see yourself as an established Commercial Manager or Senior Commercial Manager looking to further their career in a key leadership role within a top tier contractor on major projects.
- Your track record in construction will be consistent and
- You will have a clear drive to achieve quality commercial outcomes and have demonstrated success in a similar role, we are interested in your skill base and potential not the size of your past projects.
- Lead negotiations on contract terms and conditions with a range of stakeholders including clients and subcontractors.
- You will provide commercial and contractual support on pre-contract and post-contract matters and issues to ensure commercial success
- Build relationships with your stakeholders, make sure they are actively engaged and build strong relationships between the project and client, subcontractors and broader project community.
- Providing commercial guidance to the Infrastructure business unit on contract and risk management, including costings and programming strategies
- You will respond to commercial and contractual requirements as this secured project kicks off.
