At the heart of everything we do is the application of good commercial acumen and governance for which we are well- known and respected.This role is an exciting opportunity to join our Asia-Pacific team in the Melbourne as a Commercial Manager covering a portfolio of significant contracts & projects with a key major client within the oil and gas sector in Asia-Pacific.What we can offerMeaningful and interesting projectsFlexible working arrangementsCommitment to Diversity and InclusionCompetitive renumeration packageFlexible benefitsCommitment to continued professional developmentGlobal connectionsResponsibilitiesThe key objectives for this role are:Maximise commercial performance while managing business/project risk (pre and post-contract)Ability to build contract sell-rates from first principles as part of pre-contract commercial pricing modelCommercialisation of a sub-Business Group service offerings to support business growth and strategyEnsuring that all rates and prices for Wood's services is prepared, analysed and reviewed to a high standardDeveloping teams with in-depth commercial and cross-functional expertise to support the assigned businessEnsure compliance with relevant commercial/contracting policiesResolution of disputes/claims and cash collection issuesEmbedding effective commercial governance and assurance across the Contract.Managing the tender governance process for the Contract.Manages and provides team members with the general direction in commercial activities during the contract life cycle from input into tenders through contract delivery to contract commercial closeoutPromote and demonstrate safety leadership behavioursAlways act ethically and with the utmost integrityQualificationsWhat makes you remarkable?

8-12 years' experience with 4+ years' experience in similar leadership/management roleIn addition to an undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience, the individual should have extensive and varied work experience with Wood which would allow extensive knowledge of and exposure to key contractual and commercial management concepts and principlesProven experience in contract administration including change managementProven ability to prepare, analyse and review pricing for tender submissionsAwareness of all relevant corporate and project procedures.Experience in contract negotiationsExperience in claims & dispute resolutionYou must have full Australian work rights to be considered for this role.If you're an experienced Commercial Manager, ready for your next project, then we are keen to hear from you today.Apply now and take the next step in your career with this exciting opportunity
