This is a 2-year fixed-term agreement with the potential for future employment opportunities.

**What does a Power Station Technician do?**

Technicians provide;
- Expert service and advice in the areas of monitoring and control systems throughout the power station;
- Breakdown maintenance, routine maintenance, and project management on a range of systems;
- Specialist advice on a range of technical problem solving and analysis;
- Technical solutions and recommendations;
- Advice on operating limitations and impacts on a wide variety of plant and systems involving monitoring and control systems.

**Who We Are Looking For (selection criteria)**:
It is expected that the successful applicant will have:

- A trade certificate in electrical, electronics, instrumentation, or relevant equivalent qualifications and/or experience;
- Demonstrated fault finding, problem solving and analytical skills;
- A strong desire to learn and develop the skills of a Power Station Technician.
- Demonstrated competency in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Relevant Advanced Diploma or relevant equivalent qualifications and/or experience.

The position is based at Vales Point Power Station located at Mannering Park on the Central Coast, NSW.

- Location: MANNERING PARK, NSW
- Job Salary: $94k - $103K plus 12.5% super, potential overtime and bonus.
- Job Type: Full Time / 2-year fixed term
- Work Pattern: 9-day fortnight
