ASX-listed, high performing and socially conscious organisation are looking for a Workforce Planner to join their expanding organisation. This role will be based in Sydney CBD, with the opportunity to work flexibly.
This is a newly created role that is responsible for developing strategies that will ensure highly effective and efficient use of labour across the organisation. You'll be responsible for workforce optimisation and operational excellence.
**Key duties include;**
- Working across the organisation create accurate workload, service level and FTE requirements forecasts
- Optimising labour practices, working with managers to implementing effective shift patterns to match business requirements
- Analysing and interpreting rostering data
- Providing new rostering solutions
- Designing clear standards and metrics to measure performance, identify variance to planned rosters
- Creation and delivery of regular reporting on metrics
- Driving the education of the managers in relation to workforce optimisation
- Working closely with a Project team to design and assist with the implementation of the new Time and Attendance system
- Assisting in the management of time capture devices
**Key requirements for this role**:
- Experience working in a decentralised multi-site environment with multiple business lines
- Strong understanding of workforce planning principles and systems - budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, time & attendance and workforce analytics
- Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills
- Ability to interpret complex data to make recommendations
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage competing demands
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Tertiary education in a relevant field such as Business, Commerce, HR, Analytics or Finance
