The Opportunity:
Join the AIA security team as an IT Security Manager working towards protecting AIA’s brand, reputation, financial position, regulatory standing, and strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Location can be based in Sydney or Melbourne or Brisbane

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver and execute technology security management, IT and information security strategy and processes to ensure compliance with AIA’s security policies and Frameworks
- Lead a small team of security professionals
- Be Responsible for IT Security assessments of complex projects in accordance with AIA standards
- Provide expert security advice on security risks within projects and strategic initiatives
- Recommend treatments to manage security risks. Work in partnership with stakeholders to design and implement those treatments.
- Manage, operate and enforce IT Security Policy and chair relevant IT Security Committees.
- Deliver a strong security design architecture and implement leading security standards in line with Group policies and standards.
- Ensure identified risks are managed in line with AIA policies and standards
- Drive implementation of security technologies within the AUS and NZ businesses, including Anti-Virus, Security Patching, Network Access Control, Data Loss Prevention, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Web-Application Firewalls, IAM controls
- Experience in IT Security gained in another sizable FS organization
- CISSP certification preferred
- Relevant cloud security certifications will be beneficial
- Detailed knowledge of common security threats and vulnerabilities
- Excellent understanding of security best practices in hybrid IT environments
- Passion for enhancing security awareness
- Excellent team working and collaborative skills
- Ability interact and build strong relationships with people from a diverse range of backgrounds.
