The Opportunity:
ARCQ Talent has partnered with one of Australia's fastest-growing financial services businesses. As they scale nationally and modernise platforms, they're bringing on their
first dedicated Information Security Manager,
 a
greenfield role
where you'll design, own, and embed security from the ground up.

This is a
high-visibility role
: direct line to the CTO, full ownership of the roadmap, and a culture that values practical security over red tape. You'll also shape how security and
AI governance
evolve together, balancing risk, compliance, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and develop the Information Security Policy (ISP)
  • Build and maintain a risk register, lead mitigation and incident response
  • Review and embed security into systems, processes, and delivery
  • Partner with leaders to drive a strong security culture
  • Lead regular reviews and investigations into breaches or gaps

What You'll Bring

  • Strong knowledge of
    ISO 27001
    (bonus: NIST, SOC 2, Essential Eight)
  • Experience building or leading internal security frameworks
  • Hands-on risk, compliance, and audit experience
  • Pragmatic, collaborative mindset - thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture
  • Bonus: financial services or regulated industry background
