Business Development Representative

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to work closely with our Marketing and Sales teams. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.
A successful Business Development Representative (BDR) is a fast learner who implements feedback quickly, has exceptional communication skills, loves the thrill of the hunt, and is determined to succeed. BDRs are the front line of the sales process and spend their days generating new conversations and appointments for our most strategic accounts. They expand our footprint in new markets and verticals with new prospects and accelerate first calls to opportunities as part of the sales process. When prospective customers are identified, BDRs are responsible for initial qualification, scheduling first calls with account executives and nurturing the opportunity with the team through close.
It is an added advantage if you have experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from establishing a customer contact to signing a deal. You will also ensure good after-sales service.
**Responsibilities**:
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Customise product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
- Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
- Build reports to present to the manager.
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans.
**Required Skills**:
- Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (e.g., inbound, outbound, field sales)
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Experience with CRM software.
- Fluency in MS Excel.
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field.
