**The role**:
The Change Manager will play a critical role in the delivery of a major project and other projects across this large government department.

Working closely with the Executive Managers, they will identify and analyse risk and create actionable change management plans and supporting activities.

With a strong understanding of emotions and behaviours expected through the change life cycle, they will use proven methodologies and techniques to develop and implement change management plans that support staff to achieve outcomes.

**Necessary experience**:

- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of complex change management programs, including those that faced considerable resistance.
- Experience in risk identification and mitigation within a change management context including, but not limited to, human behaviours, non-compliance, financial and resource implications.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, including communication, negotiations, liaison, facilitation and representation skills, to build and sustain collaborative working relationships and networks with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Experience in providing high quality advice and coaching to senior management and executives on change and associated risks.
