**Facilities Supervisor**

**About the Role**
We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on **Facilities Supervisor**to lead day-to-day operations across a key Defence contract. This role plays a critical part in managing preventive and reactive maintenance, contractor performance, compliance, and reporting—while ensuring an exceptional client experience.

You’ll be the first point of contact for the Building Management System (BMS) office, responsible for driving compliance with contractual terms, KPIs, and BGIS systems and standards.

**Important**: Due to the nature of this contract, **Australian Citizenship is mandatory**, and the successful applicant **must either hold or be eligible to obtain NV1 Security Clearance**.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Oversee Maintenance Operations**: Manage the CMMS system, allocate and track work orders, supervise contractors, and ensure timely completion of all maintenance tasks.
- **Manage Financial Processes**: Review and process invoices, assist with budgeting and accruals, and support contract financial reporting.
- **Lead Client & Stakeholder Engagement**: Act as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders, manage service delivery, and maintain strong working relationships.
- **Ensure HSEQ Compliance**: Enforce safety, environmental, and quality standards; participate in audits and incident reporting.
- **Provide Team Leadership**: Lead and mentor on-site staff, promote collaboration, and ensure performance and safety standards are met.

**What We’re Looking For**
**Experience & Knowledge**
- Proven background in facilities management, property services, or technical operations.
- Knowledge of building systems, compliance, and contractor management.
- Proficient with CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience supervising subcontractors and internal teams.
- Familiarity with OH&S, QA, and environmental systems.

**Qualifications**

**Essential**: High School Certificate, current Driver’s Licence, Australian Citizenship.

**Desirable**: Relevant trade qualification (e.g. Electrical), TAFE or tertiary qualification in facilities management, First Aid Certificate.
