Dispute Resolution Officer for Independent State Government Agency - VPS 4 level

**Your new company**
You will be joining a highly respected independent government agency based in Melbourne CBD who require experienced dispute resolution officers to join their team.

**Your new role**
Reporting to the Chief Resolution Officer you will provide high quality case management for disputing parties in order to clarify issues, improve communication and reduce tensions. You will provide dispute resolution techniques along with expert and accurate advice to determine the appropriate course of action.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful for this role you will need proven experience managing complex case loads within dispute resolutions, including the assessment of disputes, case management and facilitative settlement. The right individual will ideally have knowledge of relevant legislation and Acts including but not limited to the Building Legislation Amendment Bill 2015. A National Mediator Accreditation and conciliation experience is desirable.
