General Manager

**The Opportunity**:
As part of the Komatsu Senior Leadership team, you will have a pivotal role in the future success of the Komatsu Training Academy nationally.

As General Manager you will continue to build on the success of the Komatsu Training Academy (KTA) by developing the future skills of our employees and with our customers.

Your role is developing and leading the business growth strategy in alignment with Komatsu’s overarching strategy whilst leading a highly technical and geographically dispersed group of professionals.

Additionally, you will create value solutions for Komatsu and our customers by pursuing leading edge training delivery to increase the capability of our technicians.

**Key elements to the role will also incorporate**:

- Partnering with senior leaders in building Komatsu’s workforce training strategy to ensure we are set to meet longer term strategic objectives
- Overseeing marketing strategy and position training campaigns to create an EVP for Komatsu’s sustainability strategy
- Developing and maintaining RTO quality and risk management systems
- Utilising the Komatsu Brand Management philosophy to build customer relationships
- Establish and maintain financially strong and mutually beneficial business relationships
- Lead the development of Technician competencies across Komatsu Australia to maintain a competitive edge with Platinum level training
- Lead the Development of leading-edge training delivery through Ai technology etc.

Role Located**:Sherwood - QLD, or Perth - WA**

**Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- 5+ years in a Senior strategic leadership role from a Heavy equipment, OEM, Mining, or Construction background or similar industry experience.
- Exceptional leadership capability with the ability to influence and partner with your team and broader stakeholders
- Diploma or Degree qualification in education and training
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- An exceptional commercial acumen and ability to develop a business
- A clear understanding of RTO operations
- Experience in the development and delivery of flexible training programs
- Proven record in identifying and leveraging opportunities critical to business development
- Understanding of Government funding in relation to training, the SNR and regulatory compliance requirements
