**What you’ll do**:
Bain & Company Australia is looking to recruit Specialist Consultant/Specialist Manager to build upon the firm’s Performance Improvement operation capabilities across the Australia and New Zealand region.
The Specialist Consultant /Specialist Manager will work across a variety of functional topics in operations (incl. supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, R&D etc.).
As a new consultant, you’ll quickly join client case teams, as an integral team member where you will:
- Support diagnostic of a client’s operation performance and benchmark against the industry
- Interview, facilitate workshops with client employees, management teams and other stakeholders
- Work with our advanced analytics group to conduct cutting edge analysis
- Translate data into meaningful insights; present recommendations to key decision makers
- Move the client to action and build relationships with client maps, calling on operation expertise
- Support collaboration and co-creation with junior and mid-level clients and maintain client assets and client relationships over extended period
- Become a go-to expert on operation topics internally
- Lead individual work streams with Bain case teams effectively
You will work with colleagues on a variety of case teams, allowing you to develop close relationships with peers and case managers that you can turn to throughout your career. Project scope will range from single functional improvement (e.g. development strategies to reach full potential procurement savings) to large strategy or cost transformation.
Each day will be different, but they will all be rewarding.
**About you**:
We recruit talented experienced professionals from a wide array of industries and backgrounds, including finance, law, consulting, engineering, technology, healthcare, start-ups and many others.
- A minimum of 4-5 years of industry experience in relevant corporates, with solid exposure to core consulting skills or at least 3-6 years of operations consulting experience in relevant domains
- A successful track record of operation related client work (focus on supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing), team and client promoters
- A highly motivated person, who is a committed and inclusive tea
