**The Role**:
**Where you fit in**

As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will act as a change agent in creating awareness of and ingraining the CI culture and philosophy across the Asset, helping others to develop skills in change and implementation management.

**What’s the role?**

The Prelude Continuous Improvement Specialist role is responsible for:
CI Deployment, Project, Program and Performance Management:

- Responsible for the development and delivery of the CI Asset Plan, supporting the development and delivery of the Asset Strategy
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement, waste removal, and cost reduction
- Planning, facilitating, and executing events using CI tools (Lean Six Sigma or equivalent) supporting teams in executing improvement projects and capturing actions in the appropriate management systems
- Teaching, leading, and coaching CI analysts and cross-functional teams on CI tools and methodologies to complement their development towards an improvement focused mindset

Structured Problem Solving
- Working to continuously improve processes across the Asset through the deployment of CI tools, ways of working and standard methods, supporting multiple work environments and teams
- Implement CI initiatives to reduce manual activities and help automate processes and workflows

Data Analysis
- Collect and analyze data to describe the capability of a process to meet a team’s specifications and expectations, identify sources of variation and make performance visible.

Leadership
- The role spans the development and delivery of continuous improvement practices across the asset, region, and global lines of business.
- The role primarily delivers results through others, building on excellent networking, influencing and communication skills,
- Support the skills development of the CI analysts, through training and coaching and
- Demonstrate a deep strong commitment to our values and code of conduct

- Passion and personal energy to improve and challenge status quo. Biased toward action rather than complacently or acceptance.

- The role will have exposure to all working levels in the Prelude business and supporting functions, from people at the front line through to senior leadership and may at times, need to deliver difficult messages effectively.
- Travel to offshore Prelude FLNG and support locations may be required.
- Flexible work options will be considered.

**What we need from you**

We are keen to speak to professionals with the following:

- Relevant technical/vocational qualification with previous experience as a CI Specialist in either a project or operational environment
- Proficiency in CI tools such as Process Mapping, 8 Wastes, 5S, Root Cause Analysis, A3 Problem Solving, Standard Work, Visual Management etc.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher qualification is desirable.
- Attention to detail, time management and excellent organization skills.
- Demonstrable interpersonal & facilitation skills for effective relationship-building, coaching, team working and team building.
- Solid understanding of work processes and exposure to internal reporting and data management programs is favorable.
- Broad experience at Prelude or other facility is highly desirable.
- Asset Management System (AMS) training, knowledge in Work Process Management
- Proven skill in the following areas:

- Program & Project management
- Performance management
- Structured problem solving
- Data analysis
- Training & facilitation
- Change management & communication
- Business acumen & partnering
