**The Project**
CPB Contractors along with our industry partners, have been appointed as an Alliance to deliver the Main South Road and Victor Harbor Road duplication projects, with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport located in Adelaide, South Australia. This is known as the Fleurieu Connect Alliance.
**Your** **Opportunity**
As the Environment Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the Fleurieu Connect Alliance project meets all environmental requirements. You will oversee environmental compliance, implement sustainable practices, and cultivate a culture of environmental responsibility throughout the project. You will lead the development and execution of the Project Environmental Management System, ensuring that environmental objectives are achieved and that the project sets new standards for sustainability
**Our minimum requirements for this role are**:
- Degree in Environmental Science and/or Engineering.
- Experience in environmental compliance within a construction environment.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Environmental, Risk, Sustainability, Project Management, or related fields.
- Over 5 years of experience in construction environment management.
- In-depth knowledge of environmental statutes and legislation.
- Familiarity with quality and risk management systems.
- Experience in training and facilitating high-risk environmental activities.
- Proficiency in environmental risk assessment and control development.
- Expertise in incident investigations and reporting.
- Ability to lead complex investigations with multiple parties
