Facilities Coordinator Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our facilities, providing exceptional customer service to employees and visitors.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong attention to detail. You will also be required to maintain accurate records, manage budgets, and supervise maintenance contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the upkeep and security of buildings
  • Coordinate with external building management and handle employee relocations
  • Supervise maintenance contractors and maintain up-to-date office plans
  • Support onboarding processes and ensure all legal and safety standards are met
  • Mentor and manage the reception team and assist with reception cover during leave periods

Requirements:

  • Australian Citizenship with a Defence security clearance (or the ability to obtain)
  • Previous experience in a service delivery role in business administration, corporate services or management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with all levels of management and external agencies
  • High level computer skills and demonstrated experience in database management
  • Tertiary qualification in business management or administration (desirable)
