**After Hours Coordinator**

Part Time and Casual Opportunity

**About the Role**

This is a key leadership position that is accountable for efficient and effective operational management of the hospital after-hours. The role supports and encompasses clinical care, planning, implementing and evaluating care practices, policy compliance, processes and services within the hospital.

This role reports directly to the Deputy Director of Clinical Services

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will be a positive and effective leader who has the ability to motivate others. You will bring extensive clinical skills and experience along with exceptional interpersonal skills. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage your time effectively and support the clinical and non-clinical teams to provide high quality patient centred care.

This role will suit both an experience nurse stepping up into leadership or a more experienced clinical manager.

**You will also bring;**
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse/Midwife
- Desirable minimum 3 years postgraduate experience within Midwifery and /or Surgical Nursing
- Demonstrated ability to be an effective role model in the area of clinical practice
- Sound Computer skills in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

To be successful you will need to be available to work a 7 day rotating roster across primarily evenings/nights, and weekends.

Frances Perry House is a fully accredited obstetric and surgical hospital located in the renowned Parkville Biomedical Prescient. Specialising in women’s health, we are committed to providing the highest standards of specialised services, skilled personnel and sophisticated technologies. Our specialities include obstetrics, gynaecology, urogynaecology, plastic and cosmetic surgery. Each year, we perform over 5600 procedures and deliver more than 3000 babies.

**Requirements**:

- Must be vaccinated against Covid-19 a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
