**Lead a team of 5 experienced grant & tender writers**:

- **Large, international Not for Profit based in Eastern suburbs**:

- **Business develop in order to receive funding from donors & partners**

Work with this leading Not for Profit organisation based in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs. You will grow and maintain a significant portfolio of programs by building relationships with donors and partners. This will be done by identifying opportunities and developing high quality concept and proposals with the team. This role works closely with various stakeholders across the organisation, ensuring alignment with strategy.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Grow and develop the organisation's grants acquisition and management network
- Build relationships across international donors and partners as well as internal stakeholders
- Develop business development strategies targeting potential donors and attracting funding
- Mentor and coach staff in program design and grant acquisition
- Manage the overall bid submission process
- Ensure forward planning of funding by building and leveraging off current relationships

**You will have**:

- Business development experience, ideally in a Not for Profit or medical sector
- Leadership experience across projects
- Ideally you will have experience managing donor relationships or partnering with with government or multilateral agencies
- Thorough understanding of grant structures
- Knowledge of challenges faced in the international development area
- Understanding of trends and emerging models of partnerships between government and Not for Profit organisations
