In this role, you will work closely with Relationship Managers in managing a portfolio of clients across the Property sectors as well as assisting with the establishment of facility arrangements for new bank opportunities. The role will be responsible for maintaining sound risk management and implementing strategic goals to ensure that an optimal ‘well managed’ portfolio is maintained. What will your day look like?
As an Institutional Research & Analysis Analyst, your accountabilities include:
Preparation of high-quality credit papers, which includes conducting detailed financial analysis, researching industry trends, and periodic reviews.
Undertaking ongoing credit monitoring, including financial and project feasibility analysis, risk grade event management and quality assurance processes to ensure a well-managed portfolio is maintained;
Liaising with clients and credit risk executives on transaction structuring and ongoing credit reviews;
Execute transactions and portfolio management in conformity with Business Writing Strategies/Risk Appetite Statements and Policy.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Ability to work responsibly and collaboratively in a team and able to manage multiple clients engagements simultaneously with strong customer focus.
A proactive mindset toward building both internal and external networks to provide industry insights and identify cross-sell opportunities.
The ability to understand and negotiate complex financial structures and alternatives.
While prior knowledge of property sub-sectors isn’t essential, you’ll bring a genuine curiosity and drive to build a deep understanding of these high growth markets.
You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills. At ANZ a growth mindset is at the heart of our culture, so if you have most of these things in your toolbox, we’d love to hear from you.
So why join us?
From the moment you join ANZ, you'll be doing meaningful work that will shape a world where people and communities thrive.
But it's not just our customers who'll feel your impact. You'll feel it too. Because at ANZ, you'll have the resources, opportunities, and support you need to take the next big step in your career.
We're a diverse bunch at ANZ in different roles, different locations, doing different things. That's why we have a range of flexible working arrangements, so our people can 'make work, work for them'. We also provide a range of benefits including access to health and wellbeing services and discounts on selected products and services from ANZ and more.
