We are seeking a **Noise Specialist **to join our **Environmental Assessment and Planning team **in Sydney to undertake noise and vibration assessments for a variety of multi-disciplinary projects.

**This position will see you involved in**:

- Building and architectural acoustics
- Environmental and transport acoustics
- Undertake noise and vibration impact assessments (e.g. industrial, road, rail, power, water, mining)
- Noise modelling using commercial packaged such as CadnaA/R, SoundPLAN, EASE and data analysis
- Room acoustics modelling
- Design of noise and vibration mitigation treatments
- Noise compliance, management plans
- Field measurement activities
- Preparing technical reports.
- Business development and client liaison

**What will you bring to the team?**
- A Bachelor's degree in Sciences, Environment or Engineering
- Minimum 2 years' of relevant work experience
- Ability to prepare proposals in plain language addressing client requirements
- Attention to detail along with strong organizational skills
- Ability to complete work under tight deadlines when required
- Proficiency using MS Office Suite is essential
- Written and verbal communication skills are needed for this position
- Strong emphasis will be placed on your ability to communicate well with others and engage in technical conversations
