To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a Tax Analyst to join our team.

**The Role**

**Reporting to the Tax, Treasury Risk & Insurance Manager within Arrow’s Finance function**, you will contribute to the provision of tax compliance, tax advice and advocacy to enable effective management of Arrow's tax risk.

This is a Brisbane based position.

**In addition you will**:

- Enable Arrow to meet on-time compliance with tax obligations by preparing tax effect accounting calculations, financial statement disclosures and assistance with associated audits.
- Prepare and arrange lodgement of income tax return, fringe benefits tax return, research and development tax offset claim, and withholding tax obligations.
- Prepare and arrange lodgement of business activity statements, fuel tax credit claim and state royalty returns.
- Contribute to the provision of operational taxation advice by researching and analysing taxation legislation.
- Deliver quality information in a timely manner, while adhering to tax corporate governance policies and principles.
- Develop and maintain efficient and effective systems, frameworks, processes and procedures.
- Provide support to senior members of the team through the preparation of workpapers and advice.

**About You**
You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.

**To be successful in the role, you will have**:

- University Degree in Finance, Business, Commerce or a related field.
- Additional professional qualifications such as CPA, CA, Masters of Tax or Law.
- 3-5 years proven experience in Australian corporate taxation.
- Demonstrated experience preparing a BAS, FBT return, income tax return and tax effect accounting entries.
- Ability to research and interpret tax legislation, and to translate and communicate complex tax technical matters effectively, including the preparation of position papers and memorandums.
