**About the Role**:
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to join our team within the Cardiology Department.

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia.

In this crucial role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are upheld within our Cardiology department. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- developing, implementing and maintaining quality assurance programs and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices
- conducting audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and mitigate potential risks
- collaborating with healthcare professionals, staff, and stakeholders to promote a culture of continuous quality improvement
- analysing data and providing insights to drive informed decision-making and enhance patient outcomes
- preparing comprehensive reports and presenting findings to management and relevant committees

To be eligible for this position, you must hold a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Laboratory Science) or equivalent.
