We are currently seeking a Regional Operations Manager to join our team at Sodexo

**About the role**:
Allocated to the Fortescue Portfolio,we are looking for a highly motivated and energized individual with strong operational experience and a demonstrated ability to work with Village Leadership to ensure focus on driving a proactive approach to resident satisfaction and service delivery.
As the Regional Operations Manager you will work alongside your colleagues (HSE Manager, Customer Experience Manager, Regional Catering Manager and Indigenous Engagement Manager), whilst reporting to the General Manager of Operations, responsible for financial performance, safety culture, contract performance and compliance. You will be a superstar at developing internal stakeholder relationships to ensure delivery of services to the required standard. Experience in leading whilst training, mentoring and developing staff will be highly regarded and the ability to perform under pressure. A continuous improvement methodology and innovative thinking will ensure you embrace and champion market trends and changes and impart this to your team. A demonstrated ability to meet KPI's, targets and efficiency's is a must.

**Role responsibilities**:

- This client facing role will require remote site travel (weekly), and corporate meetings on teams and in Perth on a regular frequency.
- The aim of this role is to create a high performing team, delivering services within the scope of the contract whilst exceeding our customers' expectations.

- Training and guidance of staff in performing their duties in adherence to company, client and regulatory standards.

- Creating and facilitating employee engagement experiences, including workshops and strategy sessions at all levels in an organisation.
- Developing initiatives, concepts and ideas that continually support the employee engagement message and ensure that these messages align with all other corporate initiatives.
- Fostering and maintenance of a strong rapport with staff and managers at all levels.

**Qualifications**:

- Tertiary qualification in business management/hospitality or a related field.
- Extensive experience in an operational environment in a site operational management position.
- Management experience in a service industry, as well as experience in managing remote sites.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain professional, trusting and positive working relationships with clients.
- Understanding Food Safety, OH&S and other applicable legislation.
- Understanding of remote site markets and knowledge of the issues that drive and impact the relevant industries.
