Highland Park, Australia Kinder Cottage Early Education Centre Full time

We are looking for a Diploma qualified person (or currently studying towards a Diploma level) to join our boutique Centre situated in a lovely neighbourhood in Highland Park on the Gold Coast.

The positions is full time (38 hours/ week) working in our Babies room and working a flexible roster during the hours 6.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.

We hope to attract a person who wants to have fun and to also work as part of a team, are considerate of the people they work with, along with the children they care for.

Our Centre philosophy centres around the theories of Jean Piaget and Lev Vygotsky. We cater for babies through to school age children, and include a Queensland Kindergarten Education Programme in our four year old room. We have a bus service for our before and after school care which services several local schools, plus we also operate a vacation care programme for our school children.

All Applicants are required to have:

- A passion to educate and care for children
- A willingness to study, learn and work within a team environment
- An approachable, friendly and positive attitude
- The ability to have fun and enjoy the company of children
- Current Working with Children Check
- Working knowledge of the National Quality Framework including: National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one
- A Diploma in Childcare

Pay: $31.32 - $31.78 per hour
