**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the role will be primarily responsible for execution of daily production in the Fish Processing area.

The position will be Permanent Full Time and based in Canning Vale, WA.

**Responsibilities**:

- Execute the daily production plan.
- Maintaining a competent and motivated workforce
- Encouraging and building a strong safety culture
- Monitoring equipment and workforce efficiency, taking action to improve where necessary
- Supervise daily activities to ensure that work is performed safely, efficiently and in accordance with company procedures and legislation
- Participate in and lead regular communication to ensure effective resource planning in line with volume expectations, leave requirements and planned and unplanned absenteeism
- Collaborate and maintain a high level of cooperation with other staff.

**About You**:
You will have:

- Good experience in managing/leading a team in food production.
- Working with products for Major Retailers in Fresh Food.
- Leading a team in a fast pace and dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels
- The ability to take responsibility, work independently as well as being part of a team
- MS Office skills. SAP knowledge will be an added advantage
