About the role

Modern Foods and Beverages are seeking dedicated Food production workers to join our team on a contract basis in our Canning Vale site, WA 6155 location. As a key member of our manufacturing and assembly team, you will play a vital role in the production and packaging of our high-quality food and beverage products.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting with the assembly and processing of food and beverage products according to set procedures and quality standards
  • Performing routine tasks such as weighing, measuring, mixing, and packaging products
  • Monitoring production processes and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Identifying and reporting any quality or safety issues to supervisors
  • Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Operate various food production equipment and machinery to mix, blend, cook, and package food and beverage products
  • Efficiently pack and label products for distribution, involves heavy lifting
  • Ability to lift up to 25kg as part of regular production duties
  • Monitor production processes and equipment to ensure product quality and safety standards are maintained
  • Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of production areas and equipment
  • Assist with the set-up and breakdown of production lines as required
  • Comply with all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily and weekly output targets
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to hygiene protocols
  • Work rotating shifts as required to meet production demands.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a food production, manufacturing or assembly role
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • Flexibility to work on a contract basis
  • Valid food safety certificate or food handling license required before commencement
