As a full time, entry level **Production Team Member **at Moddex in **Canning Vale WA,** you will be reporting to the Production Manager. The primary function of your role will be for you to perform the required tasks as planned by the Supervisor & Production Manager. This role is designed for someone who is looking to work in the production environment and has a positive attitude to work, be willing to be trained and be a valuable key member of the production team. Specific training required for the role will be provided by Moddex.

**Some Key Responsibilities and Tasks Include**:

- Consistent quality of work is maintained
- Efficiencies are increasing
- Deadlines are being met
- Neat and tidy appearance at all time

**Some of The Key Requirements and Competencies We Require**:

- Hands on production labour (handrail assembly)
- Reports safety issues immediately
- Checks parts and quantities before signing off on a job
- Ensures factory has neat steel storage/stock and clear walkways
- Leaves work area clean and tidy with tools back in place
- Ensure all stock records are kept up to date maintaining accuracy and that any interaction required with offsite personnel or management is conducted in a professional manner
- Loads & unloads trucks when requested (only if inducted on the necessary equipment)
- Assisting the Area Production Manager with suggestions for improvement in safety, efficiency and quality and providing factory floor support where needed
- Induct/train staff in the use of machines - once trained
- Dimensional and quality checks on the job - once trained
- Reports Non-Conformance Registrations & corrections made - once trained
- Assist in design and building of assembly jigs - once trained
- Actively supports implementation of safety systems & upgrades.
