Let’s talk about the role

The primary role of the Production Test Support Technician is to install, qualify, calibrate, maintain and document Manufacturing Test Equipment/Systems as required for the designated project in support of production deliverable. Ensuring compliance to ResMed’s Quality, OH&S, GMP policies and regulatory requirements.
- Install, calibrate, maintain, qualify and document manufacturing test equipment/systems as per Plant Manuals & Qualification Protocols.
- Assemble & Debug test fixtures/systems as directed by Engineers.
- Assist engineers to test new product/process/software prior to production implementation.
- Liaise with Production Line Leaders & Supervisors and provide Technical assistance to resolve issues reported on Test systems during Production and escalate to Engineers if required.
- Manage spare parts/equipment required to run Test systems
- Provide ideas and contribute to Continuous Improvements at work
- Ability to up skill and adapt new / different technology
- Works independently, likely to act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience.

- Understands the Manufacturing and Test processes and uses logical and analytical thinking to anticipate development or quality opportunities.
- Ensures compliance with Quality and Safety standards
- Working experience in General Electronics using both Through hole & SMT technology.
- Working experience in understanding PLC & Pneumatics
Ability to read Electrical and Pneumatic circuit schematics.
- Soldering skills for both Through hole & SMT.
- Technical Report writing skills.
- MS Office skills,
- Electronics Engineering Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Basic experience supporting volume manufacturing.
- Experience in Medical manufacturing industry
