What your day will look like....
As a Palliative Care Specialist - SPARTA, your day will be diverse and fulfilling. You will start by reviewing patient cases and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop personalized care plans. Throughout the day, you will conduct outpatient clinics, visit patients in their homes, and provide consultations at the hospital. You will also engage in telehealth sessions, ensuring that patients in remote areas receive the care they need. Your role will involve mentoring junior medical staff, leading educational sessions, and participating in research initiatives. By the end of the day, you will have made a significant difference in the lives of your patients, supported your colleagues, and contributed to the advancement of palliative care.
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value from $368,514 (L18) up to $460,349 (L27) comprising salary rates between $100.78 (L18) and $127.77 p.h. (L27), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.
