Darling Downs Health is seeking a dedicated clinician to lead and deliver specialist palliative care services in Toowoomba and across the region. Join a supportive, multidisciplinary team where your clinical expertise, leadership and passion for holistic care will be valued and nurtured.
What Your Day Will Look Like….
You'll be working closely with patients at various stages of life-limiting illness, providing compassionate, evidence-based care across inpatient, outpatient, community and hospice settings. Whether you're conducting home visits, leading telehealth consults for remote communities, or contributing to multidisciplinary care plans, you'll bring a person-centred approach to every interaction. Alongside clinical work, you'll mentor junior doctors, collaborate with GPs and allied health professionals, participate in service development and contribute to a strong team culture that prioritises dignity, empathy and innovation in end-of-life care.
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value from $368,514 (L18) up to $460,349 (L27) comprising salary rates between $ L18) and $127.77 p.h. ( L27), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.
