**About The Role**:
As a Facilities Assurance Officer working to the Facilities and Infrastructure Manager (NCB) for Osborne, your primary responsibility will be overseeing and managing various facilities contracts related to the shipyard's infrastructure and maintenance services.
- 23 Month Contract
- NV1 Clearance Required

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Contract Management: Act as the primary point of contact for all facilities
- related contracts, including, security, landscaping, waste management, maintenance, and projects.
- Develop, negotiate, and enforce contracts, ensuring that service providers adhere to agreed-upon terms and meet the shipyard's needs for DCE.
- Facility Assurance Implementation Plan (aligned to ship build milestones and DCE Milestone).
- Monthly Facility Dashboard and Audit Reports protocols.
- Operational Governance Establish and maintain assurance frameworks, issue registers, audit trails, and escalation pathways to support integrated operations.
- Drafting of facility assurance plans and governance docs.
- Oversight and Assist with DCE Licensing arrangements, scheduling and developing Infrastructure Master Schedule.
- Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and manage the DCE
- facilities budget, ensuring accurate cost estimation, tracking, and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Facility Readiness Lead assurance of shipyard infrastructure (laydown,
- workshops, services, security zones), including oversight of design intent, handover, and commissioning).
- Decommissioning plan for assets and capex post ship one.

**About You**:

- Proven experience managing facilities assurance, infrastructure compliance programs within Defence, shipbuilding, or secure industrial precincts.
- Deep understanding of Commonwealth facility governance frameworks,
- and Defence assurance regimes (DSPF, DISP, ISO 9001/27001).
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional site teams in complex, high-risk environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and reporting skills, particularly in a
- Defence acquisition or sustainment context.
- Active NV1 clearance and experience working in export-controlled environments
- Engineering or Facility Management qualification (e.g. Civil, Electrical, Safety, Security).
- ISO Lead Auditor (9001, 27001, or 45001) accreditation.
