About the role

Responsible for planning, conducting and reporting assurance and audit projects; supporting investigations; providing advice on risks, controls and compliance; and developing the Legislative Compliance and Assurance Program across WCHN operations.

Key duties of the role

• planning, conducting and reporting on assurance projects undertaken in accordance with the approved Internal Audit Plan
• undertaking internal audits, special projects and investigations under the direction of the Manager, Internal Audit
• providing professional advice to internal stakeholders within WCHN on risks, controls, processes and systems, legislative and policy compliance, and
• Undertaking the Legislative Compliance and Assurance Program that spans operations across directorates, sites and services within the WCHN

Skills and Experience

• Experience in performing audit reviews and other assurance projects.
• Significant experience in interpreting and analysing complex information.
• Experience in the implementation of audit and assurance projects.
