About the role

The Governance and Reporting Business Unit is responsible for developing and managing fit-for-purpose Procure to Pay (P2P) policies and processes for efficient and effective procurement of goods and services across the organisation. Further, the Business Unit is responsible for developing reports to monitor compliance of the P2P policies and processes.

As the P2P Governance Coordinator, you will support the development and execution of P2P policies and processes, and for monitoring compliance of the policies and processes across the organisation through reporting. Finally, you will closely work with other P2P functions within Enterprise Services (Strategic Procurement, Purchasing and Accounts Payable) and the broader business (Risk, Legal, Information Technology) to monitor the effectiveness of the P2P policies and processes and to continuously improve them to ensure efficient procurement across the organisation.

What you’ll be doing:

- Develop strong relationships with your stakeholders to position Enterprise Services as a strategic business partner
- Monitor metrics to measure compliance to P2P policies and processes
- Manage the storage of policy and process documents within the intranet enabling easy and timely access of the documents for the business
- Support procurement system governance controls (such as SAP Governance, Risk and Compliance tool) relating to business process queries and escalate functionality issues to systems team
- Support processes to manage risk associated with external spend including commercial and contractual risk through utilizing sourcing and contract management expertise (e.g. Modern Slavery Legislation)

About You

What you’ll bring to the table:

- Qualifications associated with Procurement/Purchasing, Business, Commerce or Finance is favourable
- Experience with procurement policies and systems (such as SAP S/4 Hana and Ariba) is desirable
- Excellent people skills to build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
- Strong written skills to draft policies, capture business requirements and communicate ideas
- Strong critical thinking skills to interpret business needs and define solutions
- Effective communication skills to solve problems in a consultative and collaborative manner
- Initiative-taker, a desire to learn and an ability to operate in an ambiguous environment
