**_ Seeking a passionate and dedicated person to join our team in providing optimal kinship care arrangements for children and young people who cannot live with their parents_**
- To support children and young people on statutory orders residing in Kinship placements.
- Ensure a stable and nurturing environment by providing responsive support services, education, and monitoring to kinship families.
- Contribute to positive outcomes for children and young people in kinship care by prioritising their safety and developmental needs.
- To optimise extended family and informal support networks to provide optimal kinship care arrangements for children and young people.
- To identify and address risk and safety factors within the kinship household.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understand of issues surrounding the Out of Home Care system.
- Skills in assessment, intake and case management.
- An awareness of ages and stages of child/adolescent behaviour and development.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of case management practices.
- Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence |Working with Children Check |Police Check
- Minimum requirement of Diploma of Community Services or other appropriate tertiary qualification/s and/or experience relevant to this position (refer to Position Description).
