**What We Offer**

Due to increasing business, we have an opportunity to join our team as an asbestos removal supervisor or Asbestos removal labourer.

The position is full-time for Supervisor and Casual for Labourer and is paid according to the Building and Construction General On-Site Award 2010.

**What We are Looking For**

People who are approved by WorkSafe Victoria to supervise the removal of Class A and B Asbestos.

People who have A & B Class Asbestos Removal Certificates or are looking to be trained.

People who value safety and work with caution and care.

Willingness to do demolition/strip out when there isn't asbestos removal work on is desirable.

**If you are also**:

- Have at least 3 years’ experience in Class A and B asbestos removal (Supervisor)
- Have experience in Class A and B asbestos removal.
- Have experience in Demolition.
- Hold a current Construction Induction Card
- Provide checkable references.
- Take responsibility for your actions.
- Understand the importance of completing paperwork correctly.
- Have the ability and motivation to complete hands-on work.
- Are happy for random drug and alcohol testing.
- Other hazardous materials removal experience (eg. mould, contaminated soil) desirable.
- Want to join a team and help your company succeed.
- Want a long-term career and a great work environment.

**Supervisor Tasks Include**:

- Setting up containments including negative air pressure units and decontamination facilities
- Participating in Safety, Environment and Quality external audits for ISO compliance
- Assisting Managers in planning and organisation
- Interpreting and complying with plans, regulations, and codes of practice
- Preparing preliminary sketches, working drawings and specifications
- Preparing, editing and revising plans and drawings
- Coordinating works programs
- Inspecting work for compliance with specifications, regulations, and standards
- Calculating costs and estimating time scales
