**About the Role**:
Our client is seeking a **Cyber Security Analyst** to provide advice and action Cyber Security incident investigations and requests.

You'll enhance security operations and practices in accordance with the PSPF, ISM, and ASD Essential Eight Strategies to Mitigate Cyber Incidents.

**Day to day duties**:

- Assist with implementing cyber security work packages to produce an environment that supports the secure and effective delivery of projects
- Conducting research into technologies, exploits, security posts and information potentially damaging or dangerous to the Department's reputation or services.

**Skills required**:

- Knowledge of the ISM, PSPF and Essential Eight
- Demonstrated understanding of Cyber Security incident response process and plans.
- Demonstrated experience and capability in managing client interactions and expectations in a service context.
- Experience in developing documentation, either technical or business

**Work from Home**:

- Full time onsite expected. Temporary work from home arrangements will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Extended hours and weekend work are required during key event periods.

**Eligibility**:

- This role is open to Australian citizens with a current security clearance. NV1 is desirable (or ability to obtain).
