**Your new role**

Our client is seeking an experienced analyst to join their dynamic team. As an Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing the department’s security posture and protecting sensitive information.- Collaborate with stakeholders to align security expectations with industry best practices, including the ISM (Information Security Manual), PSPF (Protective Security Policy Framework), and the Essential 8.- Be actively involved in IRAP (Information Security Registered Assessors Program) preparation activities. Your attention to detail will ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation.- Assist in managing and implementing our department’s IT security strategies. Your insights will contribute to a secure digital environment.- Play a vital role in managing cyber risk. You’ll support the delivery of secure systems and services, especially during the planned migration to the cloud.- Effectively manage relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring our IT systems adhere to the Australian Government Security Standards.- Provide expert advice on cyber security matters to a diverse range of stakeholders.- Conduct thorough security and quality assurance reviews of documentation, projects, and external service provider deliverables.- Utilise statistical data to enhance consumer confidence in the security and privacy of our Department’s IT systems.- Develop, maintain, and review security requirements, design specifications, and testing documentation related to ICT systems.- Prepare comprehensive system security reports by analysing trends, evaluating issues, and recommending enhancements.- Recognise broader threat environments and proactively manage changes to strengthen our cyber security posture while ensuring compliance.- Contribute to knowledge transfer by mentoring staff and sharing your expertise.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Proven experience as a Marketing Analyst, Cyber Security Analyst, or similar role.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, SEM campaign strategies, and PPC (Pay-Per-Click) campaigns.
- Strong analytical abilities, including proficiency in MS Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Cyber Security, or a relevant field.
- NV1 security clearance
