**Disability Support Worker - Full-Time Role (10 Hours Daily) - Doncaster East**

Are you an experienced and compassionate **Disability Support Worker** looking for a **long-term opportunity**? We are seeking a dedicated and reliable support worker to provide **personal care, mobility assistance, and social/community support** to an elderly man in his 80s with **memory and mobility issues** and a **high falls risk**.

**About the Role**:

- **Location**: Doncaster East
- **Hours**: 10 hours per day
- **Commitment**: Long-term position

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with **personal care**, including showering, dressing, and toileting
- Providing **mobility support** to reduce the risk of falls
- Supporting with **daily living activities** and routine tasks
- Assisting with **social engagement** and **community participation**:

- Ensuring a safe and supportive environment
- Communicating with family members and healthcare professionals as needed

**Requirements**:

- **Experience in disability or aged care support** (minimum 1-2 years preferred)
- Ability to **commit to a long-term role**:

- Strong understanding of **falls prevention and mobility support**:

- **Patience, empathy, and a caring nature**:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check or Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Australian Driver’s License and reliable transport (preferred)
