In this role as a Mortgage Specialist, you will
- First point of contact for Bank’s mortgage lending enquires.
- Develop and attain new loan and insurance business from both the existing membership and new opportunities.
- Participate in call programs when required to create and embed brand awareness for future opportunities.
- Ensure all contact and requests from members is recorded in a timely, accurate and effective manner.
- Proactively keep members informed of follow up, submissions and other requests.
- Support the team targets and goals in developing positive and profitable relationships that regularly deliver opportunities.

Skills Required:

- Certificate level course in financial services or equivalent.
- 3 + years’ experience in dealing with Home Loan customers.
- Strong focus on customer service.
- Ability to build rapport with customer’s by asking the right questions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analysis/problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a team-based environment and autonomously
- The role will require the Mortgage Specialist to work on a rotating roster that may include weekends and within the hours of 8 am to 8pm weekdays.
