We’re on the lookout for an experienced Employee Relations expert to join Bupa as an Employee Relations - Case Management Lead. If you have a proven track record of success, strong communication and interpersonal skills and a passion for Employee Relations, we want to hear from you

In this newly created role, you will provide support and guidance to People Advisors and be the first escalation point for employee related matters within the People Connect team. The role will play a pivotal part in the development and implementation of process improvement, governance frameworks and other continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity, and you can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane with hybrid work arrangements available.

**How will I help?**

Key accountabilities include:

- Lead, coach and develop People Advisors, serving as an escalation point and providing guidance on employee relations matters.
- Support with the implementation of an effective triage process to ensure prompt support and the appropriate level of expertise is applied to each matter and enquiry, including collaborating with the Employee Governance and Legal teams as necessary.
- Lead complex investigations and resolve employment matters
- Identify data trends, insights, risks and opportunities for improvement to the People Connect Manager.
- Assist with policy development, process improvement, education and awareness initiatives within the People Connect Team.
- Assist the People Connect Manager with the development and implementation of frameworks, governance, systems and processes in relation to People Connect service delivery.

**What do I need?**
- Tertiary graduate or post-graduate degree in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Industrial/Workplace Relations, Law or related degree.
- Previous (5+ years) related experience with demonstrable set of achievements in similar field, including employee relations, workplace/industrial relations and HR case management in a large and complex organisation.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of management policies and procedures and experience in delivering practical commercial HR /ER solutions.
- Excellent communications skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in a manner suited to the audience.
- Experience in investigating complex employee relations matters.
- Demonstratable experience in the successful leading, coaching or development of a team or stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience in the successful support, development and implementation of ER/HR strategies, frameworks, systems, processes and policies.
