APS6 Reporting Analyst / Power BI / Tableau / Excel / Contract Role / Geelong Based

Hays Technology in Geelong are currently partnered with a Federal Government organization located in Geelong CBD, Victoria.

We are seeking to appoint APS6 Reporting Officer on 12 months contract role with a view of extension. This will be a hybrid role working from home and Geelong office location

**Your new role**

Reporting to EL1 Assistant Director Reporting in the Digital, Design and Strategy team, You will be supporting the team to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail.

**Key accountabilities**:

- Contributing to Corporate Plan reporting processes for Board and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) reports and other reporting activities as required.
- Coordinating input to produce relevant, timely and accurate reports and ensuring branch reporting activities adhere to Agency standards and frameworks.
- Assisting in the development of the Agency annual work plan and Corporate Plan strategy.
- Providing local reporting requirement advice and support to business areas.
- Leading and/or supporting continuous improvement activities as they arise within the team.
- Assist in maintaining the Agency work plan.
- Other duties as required

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Experience working in the financial or government sector is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and analyze reporting products including the preparation of draft reports on relevant Agency activities.
- Document writing skills with a keen eye for attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, excel, word, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and Share Point products.
- Knowledge of reporting tools, Tableau, Power BI, desirableStrong communication and stake holder management skills
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Due to nature of our client, for this role you must be an Australian Citizen
