We are seeking an experience **Talent Acquisition Lead **to join the TA team, here in Melbourne. This is a 6 month fixed-term opportunity to cover paternity leave and expected to make a real impact

In this role you will be a key influencer in the business and have the ability to directly impact the success of the talent acquisition function reporting into the Director of TA and leading 5 TA Partners circa 600 fills per year and accountable for the attraction, sourcing and selection of talent across our Land and Maritime Business’ - such variety

**More about the day to day**:

- Manage all aspects of team performance and development of direct reports to encourage professional growth and development
- Be the champion diversity, equity and inclusion in attraction and selection by leading best practice identification strategies
- Partner with the business and team to build critical talent pipelines
- Delivering exceptional user experience and supporting initiatives to drive and strengthen employer branding

**About you**:
To succeed in this role, you will have previously led a team and delivered recruitment in a fast-paced environment along with:

- Significant experience in full life cycle recruiting, preferably with a combination of blue and white collar inhouse experience
- A customer-focused mentality and desire to exceed the expectations of our business by being accountable and responsive.
- Experience developing sourcing strategies that go beyond the use of LinkedIn and status quo
- Experience with data-driven recruitment and the ability to use data to drive performance and effectiveness
- Team player mentality with a willingness to jump in and help where needed
- Ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous environment and embrace changes as they arise
- Must be energetic and have the ability to maintain a sense of humour
- Comfortable with travel regional and interstate
