As an Assistant Category Manager you are responsible for leading the end to end promotional planning rhythm, while working in close partnership with the Category Manager, Marketing and Supply Chain teams.

**As the Assistant Category Manager, you will**
- Plan and execute promotions that deliver upon strategic category objectives
- Consistent delivery of category sales & profit metrics
- Report on and provide weekly analysis for category promotions
- Utilise available data to regularly review category performance with internal and external stakeholders
- Work with Marketing teams to embed strategic category priorities into a customer trade plan
- Prepare and brief major category campaigns, along with key supplier funded activities
- Accurate and timely management of end to end promotional administration
- Provide exceptional support to our store teams in delivering world-class promotional execution and ensuring that issues are addressed and queries resolved in a timely manner
- Partner with suppliers and internal teams to ensure the delivery of core business priorities
- Collaborate across teams & suppliers to ensure efficient on-time delivery of products / execution of promotions
- Partner with Pinnacle on a customer plan that grows the share of Pinnacle and step changes the customer knowledge and appetite for these brands.

**To be successful**
You will be required to have a strong knowledge of the category and a confidence in leveraging insights and data to achieve key sales and profit metrics. You will build and manage successful supplier relationships and have an intimate understanding of competitors, brands, consumer & shopper trends, along with customer focused promotional strategies that drive sustainable growth.
To be successful you will need:

- Experience in promotions management in a multi channel buying environment preferred.
- Proven delivery of a P/L
- Understanding of channel management strategy.
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills is essential.
- Knowledgeable and confident in the world of Drinks is desirable.
