Placement Services Support Team is a part of the Placements Services, Investment and Partnerships Directorate along with the Investment and Partnerships Team.
Placement Services ensure the delivery of high quality out-of-home care services to children is part of an integrated child protection response. Placement Service comprises of several teams that provide placement support responses to Child Safety Service Centre's in the Brisbane and Moreton Bay Region.
The Contract Officer-IPS supports the implementation of the contract lifecycle from contract set-up to contract close-out in accordance with the departments IPS business rules. The role is responsible for undertaking market analysis, negotiation and managing contracts, and establishing productive and respectful relationships with a diverse range of suppliers to meet the needs of vulnerable individuals, families and communities relevant to all functions of the placement services unit.
